Clocks in Motion is a kinetic clock that draws the current time with a grid of analog faces. Twenty-four little clocks turn their hands in unison — a living clock made of clocks for your iPhone, Mac, Apple TV and Android, as a screensaver, a widget, or the centrepiece of any idle screen.

There is no font and no seven-segment trickery. The numerals are assembled from real analog clock faces — the same mechanism that has told time for six centuries, choreographed to spell it out.
Each numeral is a three-by-two grid of faces. Straight edges, corners and curves are all built from hands pointing the right way.
Two hands share a pivot. Point them apart for a line, square them for a corner, or fold them together to leave the face blank.
On the turn of every minute all forty-eight hands ease to their next position at once — the display's quiet, hypnotic heartbeat.
